Bentong overview

Bentong Travel Guide
In many ways Betong represents the typical Malaysian city, and being that it is only 80kms northeast of the capital city of Kuala Lumpur, it is easy to visit. Like most of Malaysia, Bentong is on the verge of full modernity as is evidenced by the large road that now goes through the middle of the city. Bentong is a typical mixture of Chinese, Indian, and Malay ethnicities, which means delicious and diverse food can be found anywhere. The city is still small but has a growing population of just over 100,000 people. The Titiwangsa Mountains are close and worth checking out. Although one wouldn't claim that Bentong is teeming with things to do, it offers tourists a chance to see a typical Malaysian city that has not been spoiled by large crowds of camera toting tourists.
