Pangkor overview

Pangkor Travel Guide
An island paradise, Pulau Pangkor literally means ‘beautiful island’. Whether on a budget or with cash to splash this island is a clich? of sandy beaches, azure seas, coral reefs, romantic sunsets and all the other stuff people refer to when they talk about an island paradise. For those who find the virtually deserted beaches a little too hectic, just 40 minutes away by speedboat are the uninhabited islands of Pulau Sembilan. Pangkor’s fish farms are well worth a visit. The farmers are happy to show visitors around and recommend fish to be bought, taken to one of the island’s restaurants, and served up extra fresh. Pangkor is for those looking for the island paradise stuff, so forget it if shopping malls, all night bars and a pumping disco are requisite.
